The impressive AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3990X, with its unprecedented 64-core count, is already setting world records not even 24 hours after its release.

The latest and all-powerful release from AMD’s Threadripper 3rd Generation line is poised to become extreme onlookers’ new favorite toy after overclockers dropped world records around it on February 7, 2020.

As Tom’s Hardware reports, pro overclockers TSAIK, Allen “Splave” Golibersuch and safedisk showed just what the Ryzen Threadripper 3990X is capable of. By pairing the new HEDT processor with carefully handpicked hardware, all three managed to overclock its 64 cores to a whopping 5.5GHz clock speed.

New overclocking world records

Using liquid nitrogen (LN2), TSAIK overclocked all of the chip’s 64 cores to a 5,548.71MHz. He paired his Ryzen Threadripper 3990X with the MSI Creator TRX40 motherboard and DDR4 RAM clocked at 1,866 MHz with 13-13-13-31 CL timings.

Splave, on the other hand, paired his Threadripper 3990X with the ASRock TRX40 Taichi motherboard and now holds tops the GPUPI for CPU – 1B, Geekbench 3 multi-core and Cinebench R20 benchmarks. He overclocked his chip to 5,475.43 MHz, 5,375 MHz and 5,305.88 MHz, respectively, using liquid nitrogen for at least the first two.

Finally, safedisk currently holds the records for wPrime 1024m and Cinebench R15 benchmarks, clocking at 5,125 MHz and 5,225 MHz.

These world records come days after benchmarks for the chip show it outperforming Intel’s Xeon Platinum 8280 processors, which are considerably more expensive at $10,009 (about £7,715, A$14,830). The AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3990X currently retails at $3,999 (about £3,080, A$5,925).

RRA certifications usually make their way out about a month or so before the public release of a new graphics card, so we could be seeing ‘Big Navi’ in the very near future. 

However, we’re not so sure that it will actually happen. You see, according to another PCGamesN report, AMD will be holding an investors meeting, where it’s likely to unveil RDNA 2. Unless Team Red wants to hamper the sales of its would-be-brand-new graphics card by saying “a better one is coming later this year,” we think AMD might hold off on Big Navi for now.  It also doesn’t make much sense that AMD would launch a big 4K-ready graphics card right now, as it wouldn’t have ray tracing compatibility. It’s more than likely that RDNA 2, if it is announced on March 5, will feature hardware-accelerated ray tracing, as that’s something AMD’s Navi GPUs for the PS5 and Xbox Series X will be capable of. Then again, AMD could just push out a 4K graphics card because the market is hungry for it.

The Last of Us Part 2 rating confirms it’ll be the first Naughty Dog game to contain high “sexual content”

The sequel to the game of the decade The Last of Us has been given an official rating by the ESRB, and surprise-surprise it has been given a strong “M” for “Mature”.

This is according to the game official site, claiming the that ESRB has given The last of Us 2 this rating due to i’s “Blood and Gore,intense violence , strong sexual content, lots of cursing and use of drugs.

Back in 2013, The last of us did contain tons of violence, swearing, blood and gore, but those inclusive are hardly a shocker, nor is the mention of drug use. one of the recent trailers shows Ellie and Diana enjoying a big ass blunt in a moment of intimacy.

In terms of sexual content and nudity, well this will be the first for Naughty Dog. since most of their games have only ventured so far as cheeky innuendos and suggestive cutaways when it comes to sex.

However, this corroborate with the studio’s promise that the upcoming project represents its most mature and adult tale yet, with all that entails. According to analysts AMD is reportedly selling 40% more processor than it’s rival competitor INTEL. The red team is now popular than ever and the coming out of it’s next -gen CPU “The AMD Ryzen 4000”.

At CES 2020 we got a sneak peek of AMD Ryzen 4000 processor for laptops and with the tech giant promicing improved performances accross the board.

Rumors about AMD Zen 3- equipped Ryzen 4000 processor for PC, mostly hinting that it will be based on 7nm+ manufacturing technology boosting clocking speed so far up team blue(Intel) a@# since their stack on 14nm on PC.

For now theres little known about the AMD Ryzen 4000 mobile lineup, but we know it’s based on 7nm processor.

We know far less about desktop, however. Beyond the fact we know it’ll be revealed in 2020, Zen 3 is largely an enigma wrapped in mystery. It will be based on a refinement of the 7nm process found in Zen 2, but any more specific information is purely in the realm of rumor. 

There’re rumors that it will be based on TSMC’s new 7nm EUV (extreme ultraviolet) process, similar to what’s rumored to be seen in Nvidia Ampere. If it’s true, the processors will be more power efficient, which could see clock speeds see a sizable bump, seriously hurt Intel’s chips in the gaming scene.  Another thing that could hurt Intel is that, with Ryzen 4000, AMD may introduce more powerful hyperthreading, with each physical core having four simultaneous processing threads.

Comet Lake flagship’s clock speeds sighted that it’s coming out sooner than expected and it’s 5.1GHz boost

Intel’s core processors are always efficient and always reliable when it comes down to PC, and the Tech giant is now closer than ever in release it’s next-gen processor “Core i9-10900K”. The processor was spotted in 3DMark unveiling it’s boost of 5.1GHz.

The processor is listed in the 3DMark database and was uncovered by @_rogame on Twitter, with a reported base clock of 3.7GHz.

Now we’ve a glimpse of how Core i9-10900K will run even without any info on power consumption but this is on the basis that the rumor is true.

• Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 rumors, release date and specs
• Core i9-10900K is a 10-core (20-thread) processor, and the 5.1GHz boost result is in line with previous rumors, adding a little more weight to the possibility that it’s on the money.

Remember that 5.1GHz is purportedly the single-core boost, of course, and it won’t be able to hit this speed across all 10-cores. However, previous speculation has pointed to Intel reaching a little higher in terms of Turbo with Thermal Velocity Boost technology, which could hit 5.3GHz (on one core – if the CPU is running cool enough).

The Mandalorian season 2 will be released in Fall 2020

Us fans may still be divided over The Rise of Skywalker, but no one can deny The Mandalorian’s success on Disney Plus. Even without Cute Baby Yoda, the first live-action Star Wars TV show would still be the best slice of Star Wars in resent years. 

The return to the lawless, cruel world of this dope show, and The Mandalorian season 2 will perhaps going to feature a story focused on Baby Yoda’s origins. This was hinted at the show’s finale.

the search for Baby Yoda’s homeworld and species

George Lucas always had a big rule when it came to Jedi Master Yoda’s species and origin, but now Disney is part of the picture it possible that this will change and signs indicate that the Mandalorian season 2 will focus on the search for Baby Yoda’s.

Mando will be looking for the homeworld of Yoda’s species. Or maybe he’s simply looking for Jedi who survived the Emperor’s Order 66 purge in Revenge of the Sith, decades earlier. 

The Darksaber;

When Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) cuts himself out of his stricken TIE Fighter at the end of season 1 finale, he uses a blade that sounds much like a lightsaber, but looks rather different to the weapons we’re used to seeing in the star wars saga. More sword-like in shape, with a black blade surrounded by a bright glow.

We don’t know how this great weapon ended up on Moff Gideon hand’s, but we know it’s between the end of the Rebel and Return of the Jedi. He was also an Imperial Security Bureau when the Empire carried out the so called ” Great Purge” wiping out the Mandalorians. So he could have obtained it from Bo-Katan at that time, who’s the rightful heir to the Mandalorian leadership and the Jedi master.

Alternatively, the Darksaber could have been in the possession of the Mandalorian Tribe living underground on Nevarro throughout season 1 . Gideon may simply have obtained it when his Imperial remnant wiped out most of the Mandalorians in hiding. This seems less likely, Armorer would have protected such an important weapon with her life.

Rise of Skywalker cast rumored to appear on season 2

“Insiders have hinted that several established characters from the Skywalker saga’s feature films mythology will make appearances during the show’s sophomore season.” Deadline

The galaxy may believe that Jabba the Hutt, Darth, the Emperor are dead and Luke Skywalker is unlikely to crop out away as the saga bears his name, so there’re still big names during the Mandalorian era.

Set five year after the destraction of the second Death Star in Return of the Jedi, Mando and Baby yoda could cross paths with the original trilogy survivors like Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian, C-3PO, R2-D2, and even Rebel legends Wedge Antilles, Admiral Ackbar and Nien Nunb.

,Nvidia GeForce lineups always have been about almost two years apart. For instance, the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 dropped back in May 2016, with the GeForce RTX 2080 succeeding it in August 2018. The time between the GTX 980 and GTX 1080 was a bit shorter, with the former arriving in Sep 2014.

However, right the rumor mill is suggesting that we’re going to see the next GeForce lineup make an appearance at GTC, or the GPU Technology Conference in March. But this in all recent years has been about AI and Smart-cars.

It’ll be 7nm and will be faster than the RTX 2080, which is it’s predecessor. If Nvidia is able to adopt a 7nm manufacturing process for the RTX 3080, then it’s stiff competitor AMD will no longer have an edge in the CPU world.

Nvidia could significantly boost performance – over 50% according to some rumors; boosting power efficiency significantly. When combined with DLSS, which will absolutely be a part of whatever graphics cards Nvidia puts out next, could potentially lead to 4K graphics cards being available in the mid-range sector for the first time ever.

Nvidia’s next-generation flagship will potentially come with up to 20GB of VRAM. Of course, this is a leak, but it could potentially prove the theory that the next-gen graphics architecture Nvidia announces will in fact be for professionals. The Quadro RTX 6000, for instance, packs 24GB of GDDR6 – but it also costs $4,000 (£4,066, AU$6,999).

Xbox Project Scarlet IS now “Xbox Series X”

XBOX SERIES X is the next generation xbox with it’s predecessor been the XBOX ONE and its said to be released Holiday 2020. Previously known by it’s code name ‘XBOX PROJECT SCARLET’, the Xbox Series X was officially revealed at the Game Awards 2019 with a teaser trailer to show off ts’s architectural design.

Now the release date, official name and few specs for Series X is old news but the unique thing gamers can’t forget is that the console has taken a totally different yet unexpected turn by changing it’s name and design.

An upright tower design which is similar to that of a small gaming PC and, importantly specs revealed by Microsoft so far suggest it’s going to be a small power house. Xbox Series X will not be the only next-gen hardware on offer from Microsoft. The Dev has confirmed that the Fam of consoles will be called ‘Xbox’ and that ‘Series X’ is just one of the consoles within that Fam, this will be one powerful Fam tree.

The next-gen controller is to released ny Microsoft to accompany it’s Xbox Series X console, and the Wireless Controller will be more accessible to everyone. Microsoft sinked money and effort to refine the size and money.

The biggest advancement has to be the ‘SHARE BUTTON’, this is after request from the Xbox Fam. We can now share our incredible screen shots to friends, standing on a cliff or high ground overlooking all the open world the next-gen brings.

Interviewed by TechRadar, Xbox Game Studios head Matt Booty said that the launch of Xbox Series X certainly won’t mean the end of the rest of the Xbox family and that they’ll be able to live alongside one another, maybe even in the same house:

“When [Series X] launches there will still be the Xbox One S out there, there will still be Xbox One X, and we really need to approach that Fam of devices, the same way we approach PC – content scales to meet the device. I think that’s going to be the case for anybody. We’ll absolutely lean in on the power of (Series X), we think is going to be the best way to play and it will be the best thing you can put in your living room, but we also want to understand that there will be a Fam of Xbox devices out there.”

Rumored: PROJECT LOCKHART….

sources believe it’ll be substantially more powerful than Microsoft’s current disc-less box, and will come with both a solid-state hard drive and a faster CPU than any current game console. The report goes on to say that Microsoft told developers to shoot for a 1440p resolution and 60 frames-per-second frame rate with Project Lockhart and 4K/60 with Project Scarlet

Project Lockhart will primarily see use as a digital gateway for both Microsoft’s game-streaming service, Project xCloud, and its Xbox Game Pass service. From what we know, it will sit below Series X and be a less powerful but more affordable.
